Roko Banana IN CONCERT AT FESTIVAL CRUÏLLA 2025!

Librarians who shout

Rock and distortion to survive your twenties. Roko Banana is a trio from Banyoles that channels their contradictions between rage and melody, with one foot in math rock and the other in modern punk. Songs that are not just played but inhabited: stories of light and shadow, doubts and moments of clarity, wrapped in irregular time signatures and guitars that tear through the silence.

This summer, Roko Banana brings their intensity to the stages of Festival Cruïlla 2025. On Saturday July 12th, they’re right around the corner, delivering a live show that promises to be a journey of energy and emotion. A band that screams at you, shakes you, and invites you to feel.

After “El Veïnat” (2021) and the EP “Finalment Principis” (2022)2024 sees the arrival of “Fins que surti el sol”(Aloud Music/Saltamarges), an album that explores the fragility and intensity of existence through seven songs that resonate beyond their own echo. Tracks like El cel and Un dinar dels que s’allarguen lead us to recognize the beauty in the everyday, while Fins que surti el sol confronts us with the uncertainty of tomorrow. A commitment not to dwell in nostalgia but to move forward, with hope as a double-edged sword.

Somewhere between experimentation and raw emotion, the Banyoles trio cements themselves as one of the most restless forces in the alternative scene. Their sound, sometimes frenetic, sometimes lyrical, has evolved without losing its spontaneity. On stage, their chemistry translates into a direct connection with the audience, making every concert unique and unrepeatable.
