Whether you believe in destiny or not, it is inevitable to think that this Venezuelan artist’s destiny was written from the moment he came into the world: his interest in music was awakened in the same parish where he was born, Antímano, located in Caracas, where he began to get closer to Caribbean music and the great orchestras of his time. His talent grew until, at the age of 28, he co-founded the band Dimensión Latina, from which he separated 5 years later to begin his solo career.
This led him to compose dozens of hits, to become a legend of Latin music and to perform on stages such as the Viña del Mar International Festival in Chile and, next July 11, the Festival Cruïlla 2024!

Beyond his own hits like “Mi bajo y yo”, “El baile del suavecito”, “Llorarás”, “Divina Niña”, “Taboga”, “El frutero”, “Parampampam” or “Dolor cobarde”, Oscar D’León also performed reinterpreting songs like “My Way”, “New York, New York”, “Fly Me To The Moon”, “Sway”, “Volare” or “Quizás, Quizás, Quizás”, which brought together his well-known album ‘Oscar D’León Clásicos de Big Band’.
