When poetry dissolves into synthesizers and verses turn into sound waves, gavina.mp3 is born. A musical project created by Barcelona-based poet Max Codinach Sendra, it transforms into a journey between lyricism and electronics a sonic voyage that turns literary reflections into landscapes of experimental pop. After exploring the world of written words with works like “Els angles del vent” (2022) and merging poetry with music in performances like “Els sorolls de l’ofici”, gavina.mp3 takes its definitive flight into the Catalan music scene.
Its influences travel through unexpected territories, from Pepe Sales to Björk, from Jonathan Leandoer to Brian Eno, exploring both language and sound matter. A project without boundaries, proving that this bird is not afraid to experiment. And on Wednesday, July 9th, it will land on the stage of Festival Cruïlla 2025!

In 2024, gavina.mp3 spread its wings with singles like “SOTA EL CEL”, “LA NIT ERA VERMELLA”, “COL·LAPSE” and “DOROTHY”. These pieces have created a sonic constellation that culminates in the debut album ‘MOLTS OSSOS, MOLTS ESTELS‘, an intense reflection on death, loss, and infinity, wrapped in a sound that embraces the definition of POST-POP.
