When the rhythms of the Caribbean collide with the urban energy of Andalusia, a unique band is born—one that knows no musical borders or creative limits: Çantamarta. Luislo (Caracas), Benito (Granada), and Omar (Córdoba) came together in 2019 with a clear mission: to create a unique sound that connects with audiences around the world.
Their music is an exquisite cocktail where Hip Hop, Electronic, and R&B blend with Salsa, Cumbia, and Bolero, weaving a sonic landscape that resonates both in the streets of Latin America and the squares of Andalusia. Unique rhythms fused with meaningful messages. Their urban essence goes beyond musical style, soaking up stories from the city, and characters marked by the silence and intensity of street life. After releasing their first single “Fermina” in 2019, inspired by the works of Gabriel García Márquez, they continued to surprise with tracks like “Voy a Mil”, “88”, and “Lluvia”. They’ve shown their versatility in every songsounding just as powerful in a danceable House track as in a classic Boombap, just as melodic in a Cumbia as in a ballad. In 2024, Çantamarta released their debut album ‘PASARELA‘, a work that solidifies their unique proposal within the alternative urban scene.
Their music is a statement of intent: to break boundaries, blend worlds, and prove that diversity is an unstoppable force. And this message couldn’t have a better stage; Çantamarta will arrive at Parc del Fòrum on Friday, July 11th, ready to get us dancing at the Festival Cruïlla 2025!
